Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

DeSoto Regional Health System | Mansfield, Louisiana

DeSoto Regional Health System is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the financial operations of the health system, supporting long-term financial stability, operational efficiency, and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
• Provide leadership in revenue cycle management, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, and cost reporting.
• Develop financial strategies, forecasts, and capital plans.
• Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Ensure financial compliance and oversee audits and internal controls.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and the Board of Directors on financial and strategic initiatives.
• Lead and develop the accounting and financial teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
• Progressive financial management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, financial reporting, and revenue cycle operations.
• Previous hospital CFO or Controller experience preferred.
• CPA, advanced degree, or rural hospital financial experience preferred.
