As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. Your expertise will ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements while fostering innovative financial strategies that support our organizational goals. Duties - Duties: · Prepare all subgrantee budget allocations, budget modifications and reviews all fiscal documentation · Prepare and/or review and verify all financial status reports to grantors and all subgrantee monthly reports · Provide technical assistance and fiscal training to all subgrantee programs · Resolve administrative/audit findings with grantors · Prepare and/or review grantors close-out packages · Operation and maintenance of computerized accounting system · Formulate and operate a system of internal control designed to safeguard agency assets · Perform other related duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer Requirements - Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles such as Finance Director or CFO within complex organizations; experience in non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus. - Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including profit & loss analysis, revenue management, cost control, and expense management. - Strong expertise in accounting systems, financial software applications, and technical accounting standards such as GMS, GAAP, IFRS, IAS, ASC 606. - Demonstrated success in strategic planning, business analysis, fundraising for business development initiatives, and corporate strategy development. - Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership on strategic initiatives. - In-depth understanding of industry regulations related to financial compliance including SOX requirements and governmental accounting standards. - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial statements and develop actionable insights through financial modeling and forecasting analysis. - Strong negotiation skills coupled with a proactive approach to risk management and regulatory reporting obligations.
