You should enjoy researching tax law, analyzing a client's complete financial picture, identifying legitimate tax-planning opportunities, and thinking creatively within the law. This position is ideal for an accountant who is naturally curious and enjoys solving problems rather than simply following a checklist. You do not need to be a CPA. An accounting degree and strong analytical ability are more important to us than a particular credential. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead financial operations and shape company fiscal future. This pivotal role requires an energetic leader with a passion for financial excellence, strategic management, and organizational growth. As CFO, you will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, and drive initiatives that support sustainable development. Your expertise will empower us to make informed decisions, optimize revenue streams, and strengthen our market position through innovative financial strategies. If you know how to think outside the box, we are able to teach you how to structure and file properly. You must be able to think beyond tax preparation and in the direction of Tax Planning. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, fostering growth and stability. Lead the preparation of detailed financial reports, interpreting complex financial statements to inform executive decision-making. Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and other relevant standards such as IAS and ASC 606. Manage risk analysis processes, including SOX compliance (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), risk management frameworks, and regulatory reporting obligations. Direct treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity. Lead mergers & acquisitions initiatives by conducting market analysis, financial due diligence, valuation assessments, and integration planning. Supervise budgeting processes, expense management, cost control measures, and financial forecasting models to support strategic planning. Oversee fundraising efforts for business development and expansion projects while maintaining fiscal discipline. Manage finance team operations through effective leadership, supervision, and development of staff specialized in corporate finance, governmental accounting, or non-profit accounting as applicable. Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations and standards such as COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations), IFRS, IAS, and applicable governmental accounting rules. Requirements Proven experience in finance leadership roles within diverse industries. Extensive knowledge of accounting systems and financial software tools essential for accurate reporting and analysis. Strong understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss management, revenue cycle management, cost accounting, tax accounting, and financial modeling. Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, business analysis, market analysis, and financial projection model development. Exceptional skills in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and executive leadership with a track record of managing high-performing finance teams. Deep familiarity with industry regulations including GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards; experience ensuring compliance with SOX requirements is highly desirable. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for senior leadership. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities such as regulatory reporting, risk analysis, expense management, payroll management, and supply chain considerations effectively.
