JOB SUMMARY Provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Report to the Director Of Engineer directly and assist to manage the engineering operation team and all assigned Tasks/Projects by Director Of Engineer Attend the relevant meetings when the DOE was absence Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy conservation. Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services, which meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees while maximizing the financial performance. Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues. REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma or equivalent required in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred At least 6 years relevant experience in hotel or lodging related engineering operations, including 3 years of experience in a leadership role Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies and equipment Strong knowledge of relevant government ordinances, regulations, hotel operation licenses and fire safety requirements Strong project management skills Strong problem-solving skills Strong consensus building skills Strong analytical skills Hold a Registered Electricity Worker Grade B or above Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Chief Engineer Human Resources Department 28 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
