Able to manage high volume of workload A person with good moral character and integrity Able to work effectively with minimal management guidance/supervision Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the accounting department and its team members. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. Oversee general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries. Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and forecasts. Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all audit requirements are met. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and payroll tax. Develop and implement internal controls to improve the accuracy and reliability of financial data. Review and approve financial transactions and reports prepared by junior staff. Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and risk management. Support the finance manager with strategic financial planning and decision-making. May be required to work other tasks determined by the needs of the business. Work Location: In person
