# Chief Accountant **Mandoos Hospitality LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for a Chief Accountant to for managing and monitoring accounting activities across the restaurant group, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, effective cost control, and compliance with company policies and UAE accounting and tax requirements. Experience in Restaurant/F&B is mandatory Responsibilities: 1. General Accounting Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records for assigned branches and companies. Manage journal entries, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accruals. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities. 2. Restaurant & Branch Accounting Monitor daily sales, cash collections, credit card transactions, online delivery sales, and other revenue streams. Reconcile POS sales with cash, card, online platforms, and bank deposits. Monitor petty cash and branch cash transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in sales, cash, inventory, and expenses. 3. Inventory & Cost Control Monitor food, beverage, packaging, and other inventory costs. Coordinate with Operations, Stores, and Procurement teams regarding inventory discrepancies. Analyze unusual cost or inventory variances and report them to management. 4. Accounts Payable & Receivable Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, GRNs, and supporting documents. Maintain supplier statements and conduct regular reconciliations. Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue balances. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments. Review employee advances, supplier advances, and other outstanding balances. 5. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements. Prepare variance reports comparing actual results against budgets or previous periods. Support the Finance Manager during monthly and year-end closing. 6. VAT & Tax Compliance Assist in preparing VAT workings and supporting documents. Ensure transactions are properly recorded in accordance with UAE VAT requirements. Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants when required. Maintain proper records for tax and audit purposes. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is an advantage. Minimum 6 years of accounting experience, preferably within a restaurant, hospitality, or multi-branch business. Strong knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting. Experience with POS systems and accounting/ERP software. Good knowledge of inventory and restaurant cost accounting. Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting practices. Strong Excel and financial analysis skills. Job Type: Full-time Experience: F&B: 6 years (Required) Work Location: In person
