AAA Academy is a success driven truck driving school. We have a remarkably successful program, with phenomenal results. Our current school leader is retiring after eight years of stellar service and results. We are looking for an energetic, forward-thinking leader to help take us to the next level of success. AAA Academy is recognized as the premier truck driver training school in Northern California. We proudly operated under the wing of Button Transportation in Dixon, California.

Our new chief academic officer will have autonomy and full corporate support to implement a successful training program to prepare students for the California DMV’s written, oral, skills and drive tests. This is a perfect job for an experienced driver with some management skills who wants to get off the road.

Required Experience:

• Must have demonstrated success as a trainer.
• Must have a current Class A Commercial Driver License with endorsements and DOT Medical.
• Must have a minimum of two years commercial driving experience.
• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent computer, writing and speaking skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students and employees.

Responsibilities:

• Manager will be responsible for all aspects of AAA training program, including: employee management, execution of training curriculum, student enrollment, and record maintenance.
• Manager will have considerable resources available to conduct a first-class CDL program.
• Manager will participate in student driver training in the classroom, on the skills yard and with initial on the road experience.
• Manager will be involved with customer outreach and school promotional efforts.
• Manager will be responsible for student on-boarding, monitoring student progress and coordination with DMV for testing.
• Manager will act as conduit between AAA Academy, LLC, Button Transportation toward student employment opportunities.
• Manager will coordinate with Button Maintenance shop personnel for preventative maintenance service and on-road safety and reliability, including DMV and Insurance Certification.

Wage and Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000+
