We have an exciting opportunity for a Change & Communications Manager role on a Permanent basis located in Macquarie Park. The Change and Communications Manager is the driving force behind smooth transitions. They ensure stakeholders, customers, and suppliers are engaged, while also assessing risks and readiness. Working across the Food Retail & Marketing and Supply Chain Portfolios, the focus will be on crafting effective strategies and plans to inform, prepare, and engage our people, ensuring seamless adoption and success in the new landscape. From communications to capability uplift, they're the champions of change. Reporting to the Senior Change and Communications Manager, this hands-on role plays a key part in delivering successful project outcomes through practical and strategic contributions. In this Role - Drive awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement through tailored change management plans, minimising resistance and maximising engagement - Implement impactful communications, training, and delivery to mitigate change risks effectively - Develop comprehensive change collateral aligned with the Metcash Delivery Success approach, covering strategies, impact assessments, stakeholder engagement, and readiness processes - Collaborate with the program team to design, develop, and deliver fit-for-purpose change activities, stakeholder engagement plans, targeted communications, and monitoring mechanisms - Ensure seamless transition to business as usual (BAU) models, sustainability, and acceptance through robust transition plans and support - Actively participate in the Delivery Success change cohort to maintain consistency and excellence in change management practices You’re Likely a Match If: - Proven experience delivering change management initiatives within complex project and program environments - Ability to effectively engage and influence both white-collar and frontline operational stakeholders - Formal Change Management qualification or accreditation (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR or equivalent) - Strong understanding of change, communication and stakeholder engagement principles and practices - Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate at all levels of an organisation - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including content development, editing, proofreading and management of diverse communication channels - Strong leadership, organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure What’s on offer We’re proud to offer a workplace that supports your well-being, growth, and belonging: ️ Extra Leave: Enjoy a 5th week of annual leave, 2 well-being days, plus 1 volunteer day annually Career Growth: Endless learning and development opportunities Parental Leave: 12 weeks of gender-neutral paid leave for primary carers Inclusive Culture: Bronze Employer for LGBTQ Inclusion - ️ Neutral Pay Gap: Gender pay gap under 5% (WGEA 2024–2025) Mental Health: Gold accreditation by Mental Health Australia Flexibility: Flex Ready and Family Friendly Workplace accredited About Us Join us and be part of something bigger!
