CFO / Head of Finance

Mood Espresso is looking for a practical finance professional to take ownership of our finance and accounting function, reporting directly to the CEO.

We welcome experienced Finance Managers, Financial Controllers and CFOs who are comfortable working directly with the accounts and supporting business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily accounting, reconciliations and monthly closing.
• Manage cash flow, bank balances, customer collections, supplier payments and post-dated cheques.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and clear management reports.
• Develop budgets and cash forecasts, highlighting funding needs early.
• Monitor inventory, manufacturing costs and profitability by product, customer and sales channel.
• Handle banking relationships, credit facilities and lender reporting.
• Oversee UAE VAT, corporate tax, audits and financial controls.
• Improve ERP accounting, financial dashboards and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of finance experience, including 3 years in a finance leadership role.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA, ACCA, CPA or CMA preferred.
• UAE finance experience and practical knowledge of local tax requirements.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, food and beverage, or trading preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP skills; Odoo experience is an advantage.
• Able to explain financial issues clearly, solve problems and follow through.
