Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Manage and monitor the company’s tax compliance requirements, ensuring timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, schedules, and other BIR requirements. Review tax computations, reconciliations, supporting documents, and other tax-related records to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and BIR regulations. Handle and monitor BIR Letter of Authority (LOA) cases from initial examination through final resolution or closure. Coordinate directly with BIR Revenue Officers and other concerned BIR personnel during tax examinations and related proceedings. Prepare, review, and submit required documents, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting records for LOA examinations. Prepare formal responses, explanations, position papers, and supporting documents addressing BIR findings, discrepancies, and proposed assessments. Analyze BIR findings and proposed assessments and recommend appropriate actions or responses to management. Assist in discussions, conferences, negotiations, and other proceedings with the BIR regarding tax assessments and LOA cases. Monitor deadlines, notices, assessments, and other BIR communications to ensure timely submission of required responses and documents.
