Certified Public Accountant
Job Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Monitor cash flow, working capital, budgets, and financial performance. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Analyze financial results, variances, and key performance indicators and provide recommendations to management. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing. Provide financial oversight of store operations, including sales, cash handling, inventory, expenses, and store-related transactions. Monitor store profitability, operating expenses, and financial performance. Establish and maintain controls for cash collections, deposits, refunds, discounts, and other store transactions. Review inventory and sales variances and coordinate with Operations to identify and resolve discrepancies. Conduct financial reviews and support operational audits of stores. Identify financial, operational, and accounting risks and recommend appropriate controls. Develop and strengthen internal accounting policies, procedures, and control systems. Monitor compliance with established financial controls and company policies. Investigate significant financial discrepancies, irregularities, and control weaknesses. Recommend corrective and preventive actions to minimize financial and operational risks. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory agencies as necessary. Ensure timely submission of required tax and statutory reports. Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes. Monitor changes in accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements and recommend necessary adjustments to company practices. Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounting team. Establish departmental goals, KPIs, and performance standards. Review and improve accounting processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and control. Collaborate with Store Operations, Finance, Purchasing, HR, and other departments on financial matters. Provide management with financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
