Awards Central Philippines, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our Accounting Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations. JOB SUMMARY The CPA will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, tax compliance, account reconciliation, and other accounting functions. The position will also provide accurate financial information and recommendations to management to support business decisions. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and financial transactions. Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger accounts, and financial statements. Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections, and company expenses. Perform regular bank and account reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely preparation and filing of BIR tax returns and other statutory requirements. Monitor tax obligations and ensure compliance with applicable Philippine tax laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with Philippine Accounting Standards and relevant accounting regulations. Coordinate with external auditors, BIR, SEC, banks, and other government agencies when necessary. Review financial transactions and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. Analyze financial data and provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Establish and maintain proper accounting procedures and internal controls. Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation and authorization. Maintain organized, accurate, and confidential financial records. Assist during internal and external audits and provide required schedules and supporting documents. Review and improve accounting processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff when necessary. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by Management. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Accounting . Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with an active Philippine CPA license. At least 1 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience . Strong knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards and Philippine tax regulations. Knowledgeable in BIR, SEC, and other statutory compliance requirements. Experience in general accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and account reconciliation. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems. Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability. Able to handle confidential financial information. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Willing to work onsite in Quezon City .
