Certified Orthotist (CO) / Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO)

Prothotic Laboratories is a leading pediatric orthotic and prosthetic practice serving Long Island and the New York metropolitan area for over 35 years. We specialize in providing innovative, individualized care for children with orthopedic, neurological, and developmental conditions.

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate Certified Orthotist (CO) or Certified Prosthetist-Orthotist (CPO) to join our established clinical team. We welcome both newly certified and experienced practitioners. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities

● Evaluate patients and develop individualized orthotic treatment plans.

● Perform measurements, casting, scanning, fittings, and adjustments of custom orthotic devices.

● Assess device fit, function, and clinical outcomes.

● Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

● Educate patients and families on proper device use and care.

● Maintain accurate clinical documentation and provide exceptional patient-centered care.

Qualifications

● Current ABC or BOC certification as a CO or CPO.

● Strong clinical and technical skills.

● Pediatric experience preferred but not required.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to clinical excellence.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
