The role requires a commercially strong leader who can drive operational excellence, build high-performing teams, and deliver sustainable business growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Strategy & Leadership - Develop and execute business strategies, annual operating plans, and growth initiatives. - Drive revenue growth, market expansion, profitability, and long-term business sustainability. - Work closely with the Board of Directors on strategic priorities and business decisions. 2. Manufacturing & Operations - Oversee end-to-end manufacturing, production planning, plant performance, and capacity utilisation. - Improve productivity, quality, operational efficiency, and cost optimisation. - Lead process improvements, plant expansion, and new facility setup wherever required. 3. Financial & P&L Management - Take complete ownership of P&L, budgets, cash flow, working capital, and profitability. - Monitor financial and operational KPIs and implement corrective actions. - Optimise operating costs, improve margins, and strengthen financial controls. 4. Sales, Procurement & Supply Chain - Drive sales strategy, business development, customer relationships, and market growth. - Oversee procurement, vendor management, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations. - Ensure material availability, timely delivery, and efficient resource utilisation. 5. Quality, Compliance & Governance - Ensure product quality and compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements. - Establish robust operating systems, internal controls, and risk management processes. - Drive continuous improvement and operational discipline across the organisation. 6. People & Organisation Development - Lead senior management teams across Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, HR, Quality, and Supply Chain. - Establish departmental KPIs, accountability, and performance management systems. - Build a high-performance culture focused on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Candidate Profile - 15–20+ years of experience in manufacturing, with significant senior leadership exposure. - Proven track record in P&L management, business growth, and operational excellence. - Strong understanding of manufacturing, finance, sales, procurement, and supply chain. - Excellent strategic thinking, commercial acumen, decision-making, and people leadership skills. - Experience in plant expansion, commissioning, or business transformation is an advantage.
