Centre Manager
Job Description Responsible for managing, coaching and supervising a team of support staff to ensure the smooth operations of the Active Aging Centre. Ensure the smooth management of centre operations e.g. scheduling, documentation, cleanliness of workplace & senior safety Plan and organize active ageing programmes that improve daily attendance at the centre Ensure all the senior activities and programmes in the AAC promote a community climate of multi-racial tolerance, harmony and cooperation among residents Perform community screening, befriend the elderlies, and support in outreach activities or public education Establish and maintain good interpersonal relationships with stakeholders, seniors, caregivers, volunteers and the community Plan, organise, implement, monitor and evaluate the Centre programmes, activities and events and work out a regular activity calendar Assist in sourcing and creation of activities to improve and refresh resources or activities Manage staff recruitment and training needs Preparing reports for submission to AIC Ensure cost effectiveness of centre operations, maintenance of centre’s equipment Handling suppliers, vendors and contractors Requirement Willingly to oversee 3 centres Minimum Diploma Holder. 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience in eldercare or social service. Will be good if able to speak dialects (e.g., Hokkien, etc.). Able to motivate peers and team members Service mindset, genuine interest to engage our seniors in the community Possess good interpersonal and communication skills Pleasant, proactive and highly accountable for the work assigned Pacific Activity Centres Pte Ltd Pacific Activity Centres (PAC) was established in July 2014 with the aim of providing a comprehensive suite of healthcare services to the seniors in Singapore. PAC will be operating 12 centres in various locations in Singapore by end 2015.
