CDL Driver Recruiter | Base + Commission
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to manage full-cycle recruiting for CDL drivers supporting our logistics operations. This is a hands-on recruiting position responsible for managing job postings, actively sourcing and screening candidates, conducting candidate calls, extending offers, and initiating the onboarding process. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, comfortable managing multiple hiring needs at once, and able to independently move candidates through the recruiting process while maintaining clear communication with candidates and internal teams. Core Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for CDL driver positions Create, manage, and optimize job postings through Indeed Actively source candidates and manage incoming applicants Screen candidates to review position requirements, schedules, compensation, and expectations Maintain consistent follow-up with candidates throughout the recruiting process Prepare and send onboarding packets through DocuSign Maintain onboarding trackers and accurate recruiting records Manage multiple open requisitions and candidate pipelines simultaneously Partner with Operations Managers and Directors to understand needs and priorities Provide clear updates on recruiting activity, candidate pipelines, and hiring progress Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of hands-on recruiting experience Experience managing candidates through the full recruiting cycle Experience posting and managing jobs through Indeed Experience preparing and sending documents through DocuSign Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple hiring priorities and candidate pipelines simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Logistics or transportation recruiting experience Experience recruiting in a high-volume environment Knowledge of CDL requirements and driver qualification standards Experience partnering directly with Operations teams or hiring managers Compensation Total compensation for this position is expected to range from $70,000–$80,000 annually and includes a base salary plus performance-based commission. Commission is earned based on successful driver placements and retention, including incentives when recruited drivers begin employment and when they reach established retention milestones.
