This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring high standards of food preparation and safety on our jacket potato unit at an outdoor Christmas event. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately while managing the cash register. - Prepare food items according to menu and standards, ensuring quality and presentation. - Preparation of potatoes and fillings to serve the visitors, ensuring we never run out. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the area, adhering to food safety regulations. - Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and sanitation practices are followed. - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. - This is a character position (costume provided) - Stock takes and clean downs. Providing a list of products needed to the manager at the end of each shift. Experience - Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, and food service operations. - Experience in the restaurant or food industry is advantageous, particularly in kitchen environments. - A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. - Must have a in date food hygiene certificate.
