CASH MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (SPECIALIST)
We are an established food and beverage company operating multiple casual dining restaurants. We are looking for a detail-oriented and trustworthy Cash Management Accountant to support our daily financial operations. POSITION SUMMARY The Cash Management Accountant is responsible for accurately recording, reconciling, and safeguarding the restaurants’ daily cash transactions. This role ensures that all cash, card, point-of-sale (POS), bank, gift-card, and delivery-platform transactions are complete, accurate, and properly recorded. The successful candidate will also support internal financial controls, month-end closing activities, and management reporting. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Record daily cash receipts, bank deposits, petty-cash transactions, card settlements, and other banking activities. Reconcile POS sales with cash, card, gift-card, bank, and delivery-platform payments. Prepare and post cash-related journal entries and maintain accurate general-ledger schedules. Investigate discrepancies, prepare variance reports, and coordinate with restaurant managers to resolve issues promptly. Maintain effective cash controls, complete supporting documentation, accurate audit trails, and timely month-end reconciliations. Conduct cash and financial audits across restaurant branches. Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting procedures. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant experience in cash accounting, bank reconciliation, restaurant finance, or a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, accounting software, and POS systems. Strong reconciliation, analytical, and numerical skills. High level of integrity, accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with restaurant teams and meet reporting deadlines. Willing to be assigned to the company’s office along East Service Road in Taguig City. Willing to travel to different restaurant branches to conduct audits.
