Carpentry Supervisor

Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC is looking for an experienced Carpentry Supervisor to oversee carpentry and joinery activities, supervise carpenters, and ensure that furniture and joinery work meets the required quality standards and project deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of carpentry, furniture manufacturing, joinery installation, and team supervision. The ability to read technical drawings, organize daily work, and coordinate with production and site teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry and joinery activities.
• Assign tasks to carpenters and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity, and the quality of finished products.
• Review shop drawings and ensure carpentry work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, fitting, and installation of furniture and joinery items.
• Supervise work involving wardrobes, cabinets, doors, wall panels, counters, and custom-made furniture.
• Ensure accurate measurements, cutting, assembly, alignment, and finishing.
• Monitor the use of materials, tools, and equipment to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with Draftsmen, Project Managers, Production Managers, and Site Supervisors.
• Identify technical issues and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure materials, hardware, and fittings are available when required.
• Monitor work progress and ensure tasks are completed within the assigned schedule.
• Conduct quality inspections and arrange corrections where necessary.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and finished furniture.
• Maintain discipline, productivity, and safe working practices within the team.
• Prepare progress updates and report issues to management.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpentry Supervisor, Joinery Supervisor, Senior Carpenter, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and furniture manufacturing.
• Previous experience supervising carpenters and coordinating daily workloads.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Good knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, and other furniture materials.
• Understanding of carpentry tools, machinery, hardware, and fitting systems.
• Strong knowledge of furniture assembly, joinery construction, and finishing methods.
• Good problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage workloads, maintain quality standards, and meet deadlines.
• UAE experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with custom-made and high-end furniture projects.
• Experience coordinating both workshop production and site installation.
• Knowledge of material planning and workshop workflow.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to train and guide carpenters.
