Carpenter Foreman

Geometry Home Furniture Manufacturing LLC is looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreman to lead and supervise carpentry and joinery teams in furniture manufacturing and installation projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on carpentry skills, the ability to read technical drawings, and experience coordinating workers to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily carpentry and joinery activities in the workshop and on-site.
• Assign tasks to carpenters and helpers according to project priorities and deadlines.
• Monitor work progress, productivity, attendance, and overall team performance.
• Read and interpret shop drawings, technical drawings, and project specifications.
• Oversee the fabrication, assembly, fitting, and installation of furniture and joinery items, including wardrobes, cabinets, doors, counters, wall panels, and custom-made furniture.
• Ensure accurate measurements, cutting, assembly, alignment, finishing, and installation.
• Check the quality of completed work and ensure it meets company standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with Draftsmen, Project Managers, Production Managers, Site Supervisors, and other departments.
• Ensure materials, tools, hardware, and fittings are available for daily work.
• Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day technical and workmanship issues.
• Ensure workers follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Report daily progress, manpower requirements, material shortages, and work-related issues to management.
• Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within the required timelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter Foreman, Joinery Foreman, Senior Carpenter, or in a similar supervisory role.
• Strong practical knowledge of carpentry, joinery, and furniture manufacturing.
• Experience supervising and coordinating carpenters and helpers.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, and other furniture materials.
• Familiarity with carpentry tools, workshop machinery, furniture hardware, and installation fittings.
• Good understanding of furniture assembly, joinery techniques, and finishing standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in custom-made furniture, high-end joinery, or interior fit-out projects.
• Experience coordinating both workshop production and site installation teams.
• Knowledge of material planning, manpower allocation, and production workflows.
• Previous experience working in the UAE furniture manufacturing or joinery industry.
