Candidates must already have the legal right to work in Ireland. We are recruiting an experienced Registered General Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab for a leading private hospital in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with acute hospital experience who is looking to develop further within a specialist cardiac environment, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team. Essential Requirements Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting Previous experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab or relevant specialist cardiac/procedural area in an acute Irish hospital Strong clinical and professional competence Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Good IT skills Fluent written and spoken English Existing legal right to work in Ireland Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Desirable Relevant specialist or postgraduate nursing qualification Experience in procedural or cardiac nursing Strong clinical decision-making and organisational skills Knowledge of clinical risk management and quality improvement Key Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality patient care Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures Prepare and support patients before, during and following procedures Work closely with Consultants, Clinical Nurse Managers and the multidisciplinary team Respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and emergency situations Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Work in accordance with hospital policies and NMBI professional standards Participate in quality improvement, patient safety and ongoing professional development The Opportunity Permanent position within a leading private hospital in Dublin Specialist Cardiac Cath Lab environment Opportunity to further develop cardiac and procedural nursing skills Strong multidisciplinary clinical team Excellent scope for continued professional development If you are an experienced RGN with an interest in cardiac and procedural nursing, we would be delighted to hear from you.
