# Carbon Manager_MRV Certification **CJ konsultants** · Patancheru, Hyderabad, Telangana · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position: Senior Manager – Carbon MRV Location: Hyderabad | Regular travel to Biogas & CBG project sites Experience: 7–12 years, including 3+ years in Carbon MRV, Assurance or Project Certification Role Purpose Lead the complete Measurement, Reporting & Verification (MRV) system for biogas, CBG and biomethane projects, ensuring carbon-credit claims are accurate, traceable, conservative and audit-ready. Key Responsibilities Assess project eligibility under Indian Carbon Market, Verra, Gold Standard and other approved programmes. Select methodologies, baselines, crediting approaches and develop/review Project Design Documents (PDDs). Develop carbon models covering methane recovery, CBG production, fossil-fuel displacement, electricity/fuel use, leakage, methane slip, flaring and eligible co-products. Design MRV frameworks covering meters, SCADA/PLC data, weighbridges, laboratories, invoices and dispatch records. Monitor data quality, reconcile operating and commercial data, and investigate gaps or discrepancies. Prepare monitoring reports, emission-reduction statements and audit evidence packs. Coordinate VVB selection, audits, site visits and closure of CARs/CLs/FARs. Manage project registration, verification, credit issuance and registry documentation. Maintain carbon asset ledgers, registry records, serial numbers, transfers and retirements. Prevent double counting/double issuance and ensure proper environmental-claim management. Support carbon-credit sales, due diligence and credit availability forecasts. Track changes in carbon standards, methodologies and Indian carbon-market requirements. Principal MRV Areas Feedstock, raw biogas flow/composition, methane recovery, CBG purity and production, reject/fugitive gas, flaring, electricity, fossil fuels, compression, dispatch, end use, pipeline injection, digestate, fertilizer, BioCO₂ and biochar where eligible. Qualifications Bachelor's/Master's in Environmental, Chemical, Energy/Process Engineering, Biotechnology, Environmental/Climate Science or related field. Strong knowledge of GHG accounting, ISO 14064, carbon-credit methodologies, monitoring plans and assurance processes. Experience with PDDs, monitoring reports, calculation workbooks and third-party audit responses. Experience taking a carbon project through registration, verification or credit issuance preferred. Exposure to anaerobic digestion, CBG, biomethane, wastewater, organic waste, methane recovery or renewable-energy projects highly desirable. Advanced Excel and data-analysis skills; Power BI, SQL, GIS, digital MRV or process historians are advantageous. Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
