You will convert project briefs, field notes, and rough sketches from engineers, architects, and clients into precise, technical 2D and 3D digital drawings. Your work ensures our construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects meet all technical specifications and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Drafting & Modeling: Use CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation) to produce detailed plans, layouts, and blueprints. Interpreting Specs: Review project briefs, rough field sketches, and calculations to understand design intent. Revising Designs: Update and modify existing drawings quickly and accurately based on feedback from engineers, architects, or clients. Compliance Checks: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, safety guidelines, and industry standards. Collaboration: Communicate potential design flaws or technical bottlenecks to the project team. Documentation Management: Maintain an organized digital library and database of all drawings, revisions, and project files. Site Visits: Visit project or construction sites when needed to gather physical measurements or check design feasibility. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Technical degree or certification in drafting, architecture, engineering, or a related field. Software Skills: Proven proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles, geometric dimensioning, and reading complex blueprints. Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and accuracy to prevent costly errors in manufacturing or construction. Communication: Good verbal and written skills to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. Time Management: Ability to multitask and meet tight project deadlines.
