We're now looking for an experienced Senior Butcher to join our award-winning team. This role is ideal for a skilled expert who loves the craft of butchery and wants to pass their knowledge on to the next generation. You'll work alongside a team of highly experienced butchers while playing a key role in coaching, mentoring, and developing our apprentices. ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Butcher, you'll be a respected leader within the department, setting the standard for quality, presentation, food safety, and productivity. Other key responsibilities will include: Cutting, trimming, preparing, and presenting premium meat products to the highest standard Training, coaching and mentoring apprentice butchers Sharing trade knowledge and developing future talent within the industry Supporting the Butchery Manager with the day-to-day operation of the department Maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards Driving product innovation, quality, merchandising, and customer satisfaction Leading by example and contributing to a positive team culture HERE IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR...
