About The Fundworks
The Fundworks, LLC helps small businesses and merchants access the working capital they need, serving both healthy and challenged companies. We’re a team of entrepreneurs who have spent our careers growing small, entrepreneurial, and family-owned businesses. As both a direct funding provider and a growing sales organization, we offer a variety of financing solutions to meet the needs of business owners. Our direct sales division works with a network of funding partners to identify competitive financing options for our merchants. We’re a fully remote, performance-driven team where hard work, accountability, and results are recognized and rewarded.
The Role
You’ll work directly with business owners, helping them navigate financing options that support their business needs. You’ll manage a high volume of company-provided leads, qualify merchants, present financing solutions, negotiate offers, and close deals. We’re looking for motivated, experienced closers who thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, take ownership of their pipeline, and understand the importance of building long-term merchant relationships. With access to multiple funding partners and a strong internal support team, you’ll have the resources to identify financing solutions, close deals, and build a successful book of business.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a high volume of company-provided leads and convert business owners into funded deals.
- Qualify merchants by reviewing bank statements, revenue, existing positions, and funding needs.
- Work with our internal team to package complete files and identify the funding partners most likely to approve each opportunity.
- Negotiate with funders on amount, factor rate, term, and payment structure to secure competitive offers.
- Present offers clearly and honestly, handle objections, and close deals.
- Manage the sales process through funding, coordinating contracts, required documentation, and follow-up with merchants and internal teams.
- Own your book of business, including renewals, additional funding opportunities, and referrals from funded merchants.
- Maintain consistent follow-up, respond quickly to new opportunities, and proactively manage your pipeline.
- Keep your pipeline current in our CRM and consistently work toward monthly funded-volume goals.
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience closing MCA, revenue-based financing, or small business funding deals, preferably in a high-volume brokerage environment.
- A proven track record of funded volume and consistent sales performance.
- Strong understanding of MCA products, underwriting guidelines, deal structures, and the ability to position financing solutions effectively.
- Familiarity with funder guidelines and established funder relationships are a strong plus.
- Confident phone presence, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to close while building lasting merchant relationships.
- Comfort managing a high-volume pipeline in a CRM.
- Strong follow-up skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize opportunities effectively.
- Self-motivation, accountability, and discipline in a remote setting.
Compensation
- $60,000–$80,000 base salary, depending on experience
- Uncapped commission
- Company-provided leads and internal sales support
