Role Description The Business Development Manager – Communications West US is a full-time remote position based in the western United States. This role is responsible for driving sales growth throughout the region by identifying new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with distributor partners, and promoting XpressConnect Supply’s communications products and services. Key responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, meeting with customers and suppliers virtually and in person, delivering sales presentations, and negotiating pricing and terms within established guidelines. The position also works closely with internal teams on quotations, inventory planning, and process improvements while tracking market trends and competitor activity. The Business Development Manager is expected to travel throughout the territory as needed to support strategic initiatives, key accounts, and industry events. Responsibilities Proven business development and account management skills, including lead generation, relationship building, and sales pipeline management. Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels. Experience in manufacturing, distribution, communications products, broadband, data center or related industrial sectors is highly beneficial. Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to develop targeted growth strategies. Comfort working in a remote environment, located near an international airport with willingness to travel throughout the western US. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent). Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Commitment to collaborative teamwork, customer service excellence, and ethical, inclusive business practices.
