This is a hands-on, field-based opportunity for someone who understands the facilities and outsourced-services market, is confident, engaging decision-makers, and knows how to turn credible conversations into qualified commercial opportunities. Mint Group Solutions provides security, workforce/labour, cleaning, facilities and related property services. We are looking for a commercially minded consultant who can open doors, build trust and create a genuine pipeline of recurring-revenue opportunities. The opportunity Location: Sydney, NSW — field-based / hybrid Engagement: Independent contractor (ABN); final arrangement subject to contractor agreement and classification check Initial term: Paid 4-week trial, with a review at the end of week four Hours: Approximately 14–16 hours per week, generally across two flexible days Rate: $50 per hour plus agreed success bonuses Start: As soon as possible Client meetings, networking, site visits and face-to-face relationship building are an important part of this role. This is nota purely remote or email-based business development position. What you will do Prospect agreed target accounts through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals and industry networking. Leverage existing relationships to create warm introductions where possible. Conduct consistent, high-quality outbound activity and follow up prospects through to a clear next step or outcome. Book and attend meetings with prospective clients, including site visits where relevant. Identify opportunities across security, workforce/labour, cleaning, facilities and related Mint Group services. Build and maintain a live pipeline with clear next actions, expected value, timing and decision-maker details. Work closely with Mint Group’s leadership team on qualified opportunities, proposals, pricing and closing activity. Provide concise weekly reporting on activity, meetings, pipeline progression, proposals and wins. About you To be successful, you will bring: Proven B2B business-development experience in facilities management or a closely related outsourced-services industry. Relevant experience in security, cleaning, labour/workforce, strata, commercial property, construction services, restoration or similar contracted services. An established network of facilities managers, property managers, operations managers, procurement teams, strata contacts, corporate clients or other relevant decision-makers; this is strongly preferred. The confidence and willingness to meet clients in person, attend networking events, visit sites and build relationships in the field. Strong commercial credibility, a professional client-facing manner and an ability to speak practically about service, accountability, responsiveness and delivery. A self-directed, organised and disciplined approach to follow-up and pipeline management. The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with the Mint Group team on key opportunities. Opportunity to grow This role begins as a part-time contract engagement, but it has genuine potential to expand for the right person. As the client base and recurring revenue grow, the engagement may develop into increased hours or a full-time position. Beyond business development, the successful person may also assist at a practical field and operational level—attending client sites, supporting mobilisation of new contracts, maintaining client relationships and helping ensure new work is transitioned smoothly into Mint Group’s operations. This is suited to someone who wants to build something meaningful and grow with the business, not simply provide occasional leads. What success looks like in the first four weeks We are looking for momentum from week one: quality conversations with relevant decision-makers, client meetings booked and attended, a credible pipeline of qualified opportunities with clear next actions, and evidence that you can use your industry knowledge, relationships and persistence to create commercial opportunities for Mint Group. Continuation beyond the initial four-week trial will be assessed on activity, pipeline quality, meetings, commercial opportunities, fit and overall value to Mint Group Solutions. Success bonuses In addition to the hourly rate, performance bonuses are available for new monthly revenue won: Under $5,000 per month: $250 $5,000–$15,000 per month: $500 $15,000–$30,000 per month: $750 $30,000+ per month: $1,000 Major strategic account: $1,500–$2,500 at Mint Group’s discretion Bonuses are payable only after the new work has commenced, Mint Group has received payment of the first client invoice has been paid. Leads, introductions or meetings alone do not attract a success bonus.
