# Business Development Manager (BDM) **Arkahub** · Bengaluru, Karnataka · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Business Development Manager | Offline Marketing Location: Bangalore (On-site) Note : People with Kannada Fluency can apply About Arkahub: Arkahub is on a mission to revolutionize residential energy in India. We are a venture-backed (Seed funded) startup making solar energy accessible, seamless, and efficient for homeowners. Having established a strong foothold in Bengaluru, we are now scaling into Hyderabad, Pune, and Nagpur. At Arkahub, we don't just sell solar panels; we build the infrastructure for a sustainable future. Our goal is to make buying rooftop solar as simple and desirable as buying a home appliance, and move away from the complex industry jargon seen today. Role Overview: Rooftop solar is a high-ticket, low-awareness purchase, and buyers need to be found, educated, and won over on the ground. We're looking for a Business Development Manager to own offline demand generation for the city: running community events, onboarding channel partners, cracking under-construction societies, and leading door-to-door outreach in high-potential pockets. You'll manage a team of Marketing Executives, own a city budget, and work hand-in-glove with the City Head to build the offline engine. If you've built lead pipelines through boots-on-the-ground hustle in a high-ticket category before, this role is for you. What You'll Do (The Jobs to be Done) · Run the Offline Funnel: Plan and execute events in villa communities and plotted layouts, onboard channel partners (banks, interior designers, contractors, etc.), and crack under-construction societies to build a steady lead pipeline. · Own Hotpocket Outreach: Identify high-potential micro-markets in the city and run structured door-to-door outreach to generate and qualify leads directly. · Manage BTL & Local Presence: Plan and deploy local marketing initiatives incl. hoardings, lamp-post branding, and local collaterals where it actually moves leads · Lead the ME Team: Hire, train, and manage Marketing Executives against clear targets: leads generated, meetings scheduled (your quality checkpoint), and bookings · Co-Build the City Plan: Work directly with the City Head to shape the offline GTM plan, then own its day-to-day execution and course-correction. · Partner with the Center: Work with the central Offline Marketing Lead on budget, agency coordination, and collaterals - a dotted-line, co-owned-goals relationship, not a hand-off. Who You Are: · Min 5 Years of Experience: With at least 2–3 years managing a field team in a high-ticket, low-awareness category: solar, real estate, premium interiors, insurance, or similar. · Field-First, Always: You're on the ground most of the week, not running the city from a desk. You know what a good event or channel tie-up actually looks like because you've done it. · A Builder, Not Just a Manager: You've built offline channels from scratch before, you know how to test a hotpocket, pitch a channel partner, and know within weeks if something's working. · High Agency: You don't wait for a playbook. If a channel isn't converting, you diagnose it and fix it and you take extreme ownership of your lead, meeting, and booking numbers. Pay: Up to ₹850,000.00 per year Benefits: - Cell phone reimbursement - Commuter assistance - Paid sick time - Provident Fund Work Location: In person
