Technical Skills - User Story Mapping - Backlog Management - Requirements Elicitation - Acceptance Criteria Definition - Agile / Scrum - Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools - Specification-Driven Development methodologies - AI-assisted business analysis and documentation tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or similar). We are seeking a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Business Analyst to work alongside a US-based client BA on the Vision product. This role will partner directly with stakeholders, product teams, and software engineers to transform business needs into well-defined product requirements, leveraging modern AI-assisted and Specification-Driven Development practices. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with clients, asking the right questions to uncover business needs, and translating high-level ideas into actionable specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria that enable efficient software delivery. Key Responsibilities - Collaborate closely with a US-based Business Analyst and client stakeholders to define and refine product requirements. - Facilitate remote, client-facing discussions to gather business needs, clarify objectives, and document requirements. - Elicit requirements through effective questioning, active listening, and stakeholder interviews. - Transform loosely defined business requests into structured product specifications, including: - Epics - Features - User Stories - Acceptance Criteria - Business Rules - Partner with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented. - Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement clarification activities. - Create and maintain product documentation using Specification-Driven Development practices. - Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirement gathering, analysis, documentation, and refinement activities. - Review and validate delivered functionality against documented requirements and acceptance criteria. - Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the product lifecycle. - Outstanding questioning and discovery skills. - Ability to uncover underlying business problems rather than simply documenting requests. - Comfort challenging assumptions and driving clarity. - Strong attention to detail while maintaining a product-oriented mindset. - Passion for leveraging AI and modern development practices to improve delivery quality and speed. Nice-to-have - Experience working in AI-enabled software development environments, including Specification-Driven Development (Spec-Driven Development), where requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria are leveraged as the primary source of truth for software delivery.
