Job Summary You will lead business analysis efforts to define and translate insurance domain requirements into actionable user stories and test plans, supporting Agile project delivery and stakeholder collaboration across business and IT teams. Responsibilities Analyze and document business processes and define detailed business requirements using use cases and user stories to support software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities Develop and maintain traceability matrices from product backlogs to ensure alignment of user stories with project goals for each sprint Create comprehensive test plans and functional scenarios based on requirements to facilitate system testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) Manage project initiatives by coordinating between business, IT, and end users to ensure successful delivery of solutions Apply strong business analysis skills within Agile frameworks to drive iterative development and continuous improvement Collaborate effectively across diverse clients, internal projects, and teams to foster agile practices and deliver value Utilize knowledge of insurance product sales, servicing processes, and agent compensation systems to inform requirement gathering and solution design Leverage prior experience in software development and SDLC to enhance analysis and testing activities Incorporate understanding of finance, actuarial concepts, and POS systems to add value to insurance domain projects Preferred competencies and qualifications Prior experience as a Business Analyst with 7+ years in-depth understanding of the entire SDLC process Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Insurance Domain, preferably with LifeAsia or similar products Exposure to finance or actuarial concepts Experience with POS systems Factorial Solutions is an Executive Search firm with headquarters in Singapore and delivery centres in various other locations.
