This role is responsible for eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. The Business Analyst plays a key part in ensuring that IT solutions effectively address business needs, optimize operational workflows, and deliver strategic value to the university. This position works within the IT-PMO to support project success from initiation through implementation. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred. Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are a plus. - 2–4 years of progressive experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or project-driven environment, with proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation. - Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and familiarity with database concepts and system integration principles. - Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques and tools, including use cases, user stories, process flows, and wireframes. - Excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into clear technical requirements. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong presentation and facilitation capabilities.
