Business Analyst 4 – Change Management Location: 100% Remote Important: The selected candidate must be able to pick up equipment in person from the VA (Richmond) office. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Change Management Analyst to support multiple Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI) initiatives within the Change Management Office. This role will focus heavily on the coordination, processing, tracking, and management of project deliverables and change requests associated with the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). The Business Analyst will manage a high volume of deliverables from vendors and internal teams, ensuring documentation is received, logged, version-controlled, routed to appropriate SMEs and Project Managers, and tracked through approval or rejection. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, knowledge of IT project documentation, and the ability to coordinate effectively across vendors, SMEs, project teams, and leadership. Key Responsibilities Support DDI projects and MES Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities within the Change Management Office. Process and track a high volume of project requests and deliverables, including design documents, test plans, work plans, and other SDLC documentation. Log incoming deliverables and route them to appropriate SMEs and Project Managers for review, approval, and next steps. Coordinate deliverables and approvals/rejections across MES vendors, internal development teams, SMEs, and contracted partners. Maintain project databases, tracking logs, deliverable repositories, and version-controlled documentation. Ensure accurate transfer, storage, processing, filing, and versioning of project documentation. Serve as a central IT point of contact for Change Management activities and deliverable coordination. Collaborate with project teams, PMO, SMEs, management, and vendors to ensure alignment across cross-functional activities. Coordinate Change Management workstreams with the Project Management Office. Work closely with program and project management teams to support release readiness and smooth transitions prior to deployment. Apply structured Change Management methodologies and complete required change management activities and documentation. Develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare recurring and ad-hoc status reports and respond to project inquiries from management and staff. Serve as a key resource for project reporting, documentation management, and coordination. Participate throughout all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Ideal Candidate Minimum 7-8 years of experience needed The successful candidate will have strong Business Analysis, Change Management, project coordination, and documentation management experience within large, complex IT environments. Candidates should be comfortable managing hundreds of deliverables simultaneously and understand common IT project terminology and documentation. Experience working with vendors, PMOs, SMEs, and enterprise systems is highly preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
