Budtender/Cannabis Advisor
We are looking for a part time Budtender to join our BeWell Merrimac Retail team. The Budtender is responsible for providing exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and in some cases patient record management and intake coverage. Our ideal candidate has a positive upbeat attitude, a desire to help people find the best product for their needs and flexible availability. A background in retail customer service experience and cannabis knowledge is required. This position is eligible for tips. Requirements for this position include the following: High School Diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience Cannabis product knowledge is required and experience in the cannabis industry is highly desirable. Ability to provide excellent customer experience Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. Must work well with others in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment Detail oriented Excellent math skills Able to adapt to new technology and procedure changes Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes, and product application/consumption methods Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software i.e., Word, Excel, email, etc. Learn, understand, and comply with Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations Due to cannabis industry regulations, all candidates must be at least 21 years old, receive CORI clearance, and must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays as well as have reliable transportation. Physical requirements include being able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for most of their work schedule. The candidate must also be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required for this job which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
