About the Role

Hitachi Digital Services is seeking a data-driven Strategic Business Analyst (3+ years) to transform market research and operational data into actionable insights, driving strategic planning and performance optimization across global semiconductor initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research on global semiconductor industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities.
• Data & Operational Analytics: Analyze sales performance, production costs, supply chain metrics, and KPIs to formulate strategic recommendations.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build financial models, revenue projections, and executive dashboards to support capital investments.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Product Development, and Sales to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and drive continuous efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Market Intelligence Analyst with a focus on the Semiconductor or High-Tech sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and BI tools ( SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel ) and financial modeling.
• Proven ability to synthesize complex quantitative data into executive-level presentations.
• Fluent professional English communication skills (written and verbal).
