# Brand & Community Ambassador (Headlands On Campus) **Headlands Brewing** · Walnut Creek, CA 94597 · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role POSITION SUMMARY Are you the person your friends turn to for the latest campus news? Are you active in student life and passionate about creating spaces where people feel welcome? Can you capture the energy of an event in a short video—or recognize the kind of gathering students will genuinely want to attend? Headlands On Campus is looking for a Campus Brand & Community Ambassador to help make HOC a recognizable and meaningful part of UC Berkeley campus life. You’ll serve as a direct connection between Headlands and the Cal student community. You’ll build relationships with student organizations, identify opportunities for events and partnerships, support campus promotion, and capture student-centered photo and video content. This is more than a social media role. It’s an opportunity to help shape how a growing campus venue connects with students and create new traditions around meeting, eating, celebrating and spending time at Headlands. RESPONSIBILITIES - Build relationships with student organizations, academic departments, student performers, Cal Athletics communities and other campus groups. - Introduce student groups to HOC as a potential location for mixers, fundraisers, performances, meetings, watch parties and other gatherings. - Identify campus moments, traditions and emerging trends that could inform HOC events and marketing. - Help develop partnership and event ideas that feel relevant to UC Berkeley students. - Support select HOC events through student-group communication, promotion, guest engagement and event documentation. - Capture engaging photos and short-form vertical video featuring events, menu items, student groups and the overall HOC experience. - Create simple Reels, TikToks, Stories and other social-first content in collaboration with the Headlands Marketing team. - Adapt approved Canva or Adobe templates for social graphics, flyers, event reminders and digital signage. - Gather informal student feedback about HOC events, offerings, atmosphere and opportunities for improvement. - Share a concise weekly recap of outreach, content captured, campus observations and upcoming opportunities. - The Ambassador will help generate awareness and student participation but will not be solely responsible for contracts, venue staffing, food and beverage operations or full event production. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Required - Currently enrolled at UC Berkeley or graduated. - Familiarity with campus life, student organizations, events and culture. - Friendly and confident communicating with students, campus partners and Headlands team members. - Dependable, organized and responsive, with strong follow-through. - Comfortable working independently while following established priorities and deadlines. - An interest in community-building, events, marketing or content creation. - Comfortable capturing basic photos and vertical video on a phone. - Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends and major campus events. - Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, photography, video editing or social media content creation is helpful, but professional creative experience is not required. We’re looking for someone with a developing creative eye who understands what makes student content feel natural and engaging—and who is excited to learn. Preferred (not required) - Previous involvement with student organizations, events, hospitality, marketing or communications is a plus but not required. Work samples or links to relevant social media, photography, video or design projects are encouraged but optional. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT - This position is designed to average approximately 15–25 hours per week during the academic semester , with scheduling built around the Ambassador’s academic commitments. - The role will include regular in-person work at Headlands On Campus and around UC Berkeley, with some planning, outreach and content editing completed remotely. Additional hours may occasionally be available during major campus events and peak periods. - Strong performance may lead to continued opportunities in future semesters or expanded responsibilities within Headlands marketing, events and community engagement. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Part-Time includes: - 401(k) with generous company match, 50% discount on everything at Headlands retail locations, plus great food & beer! WHY JOIN HEADLANDS? You won’t simply promote an existing campus experience—you’ll help build it. This role offers hands-on experience in community engagement, hospitality marketing, event support and content creation. You’ll work directly with the Headlands Marketing team while helping shape how HOC connects with the Cal community.
