Vérité Talent is an in-store beauty, fragrance and wellness staffing agency. We place freelance ambassadors in Ulta Beauty, Bluemercury, Nordstrom, Credo Beauty, Sephora, Bloomingdales and Costco on behalf of the brands we represent — and we're building our San Francisco bench.

What the work looks like

• In-store and in-warehouse representation: selling, customer education, product demonstration, sampling events and brand launches
• Typically 5-hour shifts, one to three days a week depending on the brand
• A short written field report after every shift — what sold, stock and testers, store feedback, photos of the counter
• Paid brand training before your first shift
• Independent contractor (1099), flexible, mission by mission

1. Clark's Botanicals · Credo Beauty, Fillmore Street

Skincare, one day a week, 5-hour shift, ongoing. Selling and customer education at the counter. Ideal for someone living in the city.

1. HUM Nutrition · Costco in-warehouse sampling

San Francisco (#144), South San Francisco (#422), Redwood City (#1042), Mountain View (#143). Weeks of October 12 and 19 , shifts 10am–3pm (5 hours), plus paid training beforehand.

You'd be a fit if you

• Have experience in beauty, skincare, wellness or in-store sampling
• Are comfortable approaching customers and talking about a product
• Are reliable on timing — the counter or the table has to be open on the hour
• Live in San Francisco or on the Peninsula, with your own transport for the Costco dates
