BR OOC Discoverability and Merchandising, Out of Country - Cross border LatAm

DESCRIPTION We are seeking a results-oriented Merchandising & Deals Manager to drive deals adoption, merchandising strategy, and High-Velocity Events (HVE) execution for Brazil's Out-of-Country (OOC) channel. This role sits at the intersection of advertising, deals, and discoverability — owning the strategy to accelerate selection visibility and conversion for cross-border sellers in the Brazilian marketplace. You will work cross-functionally across Category Merchant Managers, Marketing, Influencer teams, and GL leaders to build and scale deals penetration, ads adoption, and merchandising programs that drive incremental GMS growth. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast with data, and can influence without authority across multiple stakeholder groups. Key job responsibilities Deals Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end deals roadmap for BR OOC FBA — define deal selection criteria, drive seller deal adoption (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, Coupons), and optimize deal performance across key events (Prime Day, Black Friday, HVEs) Ads Adoption: Partner with the Advertising team to increase sponsored products and brands adoption among IC FBA sellers, building playbooks and self-service mechanisms that scale HVE Planning & Coordination: Lead BR OOC participation in High-Velocity Events — from selection nomination and inventory readiness to promotional calendar alignment and post-event analysis Cross-GL Merchandising: Collaborate with Category Merchant Managers across GLs (Electronics, PC, Wireless, Home, etc.) to identify high-potential ASINs, curate collections, and drive featured placement Discoverability & Browse: Work with BR OOC Discoverability teams to improve search ranking, browse node placement, and storefront visibility for cross-border selection Marketing & Influencer Partnerships: Coordinate with Marketing and Influencer teams to amplify OOC selection through social channels, editorial content, and creator-driven campaigns BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in management, business administration, economics, engineering, marketing, or Bachelor's degree Experience in e-commerce, retail or advertising Experience with different programmatic deal types Experience working with Excel, reporting tools, and large-scale data mining tools, such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or Tableau, or experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA, or Advanced degree Experience in online advertising Experience working with global and cross-functional teams across business development, marketing, operations, product development and legal Experience in the regional retail and wholesale landscape with prior interactions with sellers and distributors, or experience in sales/business development Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
