BMS ENGINEER (Building Management Systems)

Job Description

Gulfcraft Trading & Services W.L.L. is seeking an experienced and qualified BMS Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and have solid experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Facility Management operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing BMS operations, monitoring building automation systems, coordinating maintenance activities, supervising technicians, and ensuring the efficient operation of facility management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and related facility operations.
• Oversee the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of building automation and control systems.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure effective maintenance and timely resolution of technical issues.
• Monitor technicians' performance, productivity, and quality of work.
• Coordinate and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities.
• Operate and utilize FM software such as CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or equivalent systems.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance reports, site reports, and operational documentation.
• Identify system faults, coordinate troubleshooting, and ensure smooth system operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare regular performance reports.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience .
• Minimum 4 years of Gulf experience .
• Previous experience in Facility Management (FM) is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and building automation operations.
• Experience in FM software operations, including CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detailed technical knowledge of facility management systems and operations.
• Experience in monitoring and evaluating technicians' performance.
• Strong technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
