About the Role We are looking for a hands-on, domain ready Bio Chem Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, and modern software technologies with chemical /biochemical domain knowledge. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy building end-to-end solutions, experimenting with emerging AI capabilities, and rapidly converting ideas into impactful applications in the field of life sciences. Key Responsibilities Design and develop Gen AI applications, AI assistants, and intelligent workflows. Build and implement RAG pipelines, AI agents, and enterprise search solutions. Develop backend services, APIs, and AI integrations using Python. Build user-facing applications using modern frontend technologies such as React. Integrate AI models with enterprise systems, databases, and external services. Rapidly prototype Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and customer demonstrations in life science domain. Evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and frameworks to identify new opportunities. Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and customers to deliver innovative solutions. Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and production-ready and deploy in customer enviornment. Required Qualifications Degree in Chemistry / Bio Chemistry and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Strong programming skills in Python. Experience building web applications, APIs, and backend services. Understanding of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and agentic AI concepts. Familiarity with JavaScript/React and modern application development practices. Strong Chemical /BioChemical domain and problem-solving skills, Good communication skills, and a passion for learning new technologies. Preferred Technical Skills AI OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM platforms RAG,AI Agents, Prompt Engineering LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel Ollama,Llama.cpp Development & Cloud Python, FastAPI, Flask React,Next.js Azure or GCP Docker, GitHub, CI/CD Data & Search Vector databases such as Pinecone, Chroma, Weaviate, or FAISS Enterprise Search and knowledge management solutions Nice to Have Experience deploying AI applications to cloud environments. Experience with orchestration frameworks such as CrewAI or AutoGen. Knowledge of application security, authentication, and API management. Experience building AI copilots or enterprise AI assistants. Contributions to AI projects, hackathons, or open-source initiatives. Ideal Candidate Passionate about AI and innovation with domain knowledge in Chemical / BioChemical Science Enjoys hands-on development and rapid prototyping. Comfortable working independently and learning new technologies quickly. Able to work across AI, backend, and frontend components.
