Core Purpose of the RoleThe

BIM Lead is responsible for the technical execution of specific projects, managing day-to-day model production, and directly leading the team of modelers and coordinators to ensure project milestones are met. They bridge the gap between high-level BIM strategy and hands-on production. Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Project Execution Setup: Establish project-specific model structures, coordinate workspace environments, and configure the Common Data Environment (CDE) for active project teams.
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Lead interdisciplinary coordination meetings to run clash detection reports using Navisworks or Solibri, actively resolving design conflicts before construction begins on-site.
• Quality Control & Audits: Perform daily model audits, data validation checks, and health checks to ensure the modeling team adheres to the established BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Align architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) models to minimize errors and ensure data integrity.
• Team Supervision: Delegate daily tasks to BIM modelers and coordinators, tracking progress against strict project delivery schedules.
• Content Library Management: Supervise the creation, maintenance, and standardization of parametric families and project-specific component libraries.

Required Skills & Soft Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or equivalent industry software.
• Advanced Workflows: Deep operational knowledge of complex parametric modeling, advanced family creation, and visual scripting tools like Dynamo or Grasshopper.
• Troubleshooting: Strong technical problem-solving skills to resolve file corruption, linking errors, and software integration bottlenecks.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills to guide internal drafting teams and explain technical model requirements to external consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience Requirements: Requires a minimum of 8+ years of professional industry experience within the AEC sector, with a proven track record of handling complex modeling and coordination on large-scale projects.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
