# BIM Engineer- Electrical **M Tec Electro Mechanical LLC** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary We are seeking a BIM Engineer – Electrical with UAE building construction experience to develop, coordinate, and manage electrical BIM models and drawings for MEP projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate Electrical BIM models using Revit MEP based on approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Model and coordinate Electrical Power Systems, including LV systems, MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, cable trays, conduits, wiring, and containment. Model and coordinate Lighting Systems, including lighting fixtures, emergency lighting, controls, and associated containment. Coordinate ELV systems, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Intercom, SMATV, and other low-current services as required. Coordinate Earthing, Lightning Protection, and Generator/UPS systems where applicable. Prepare BIM models, shop drawings, coordination drawings, layouts, sections, and details required for construction. Perform MEP coordination and clash detection using Navisworks and resolve conflicts with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other services. Review electrical drawings and specifications to ensure the BIM model is accurate, coordinated, and suitable for construction. Coordinate with design engineers, site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve technical and modelling issues. Update BIM models based on design revisions, RFIs, site changes, and approved coordination requirements. Support preparation of as-built BIM models and final electrical documentation based on actual site installation. Ensure models and drawings comply with project BIM standards, LOD requirements, naming conventions, and document control procedures. Assist the project team in resolving BIM-related technical issues and delivering project requirements within the required schedule. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field. 3-4 years of BIM/MEP experience, preferably in UAE building construction projects. Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks. Good understanding of Electrical Power, Lighting, ELV, Fire Alarm, Earthing, and Lightning Protection systems. Experience in MEP coordination, clash detection, shop drawings, and construction documentation. Ability to read and understand Electrical, MEP, architectural, and structural drawings. Good knowledge of UAE building construction practices and electrical coordination requirements. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. UAE building construction experience is preferred. Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month Experience: Relevant: 4 years (Required) Work Location: In person
