BIM Coordinator (Revit / Navisworks), Client-Side Deployment, Dubai

We are hiring a BIM Coordinator to be deployed full-time at the Dubai office of a leading UAE main contractor. You will sit inside the client’s project team as their in-house BIM authority and the single point of coordination between the client and the BIM consultant appointed on the project.

This is a coordination and oversight role, not a production modelling role. You will be the person the client relies on to know whether the BIM deliverables are on programme, fit for construction, and compliant with the BEP.

What you will do

• Track the progress and output of the appointed BIM consultant against the project BIM programme, deliverable schedule and construction sequence
• Run the BIM workflow between the client and the consultant: design information out, model and drawing submissions in, responses tracked to closure
• Review models and BIM-extracted drawings against the project BIM Execution Plan, LOD requirements and client standards, and report findings
• Federate discipline models and run clash reviews in Navisworks Manage, issuing clash reports to the responsible party
• Attend and chair BIM coordination meetings on the client’s behalf, record actions and chase them to closure
• Produce weekly and monthly progress reports covering production status, model quality, open issues and areas of delay
• Maintain comment trackers, issue logs, clash reports, submission registers and coordination records
• Advise the client’s project team on deliverable requirements and model usability for construction

What you need

• 5+ years in BIM, with at least 2 years coordinating on UAE construction projects
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Able to read and interrogate a BIM Execution Plan and hold others to it
• Practical understanding of ISO 19650 and of LOD 300 to LOD 500 in a construction context
• Confident in front of consultants and contractors: you will be raising issues, not just logging them
• Degree or diploma in Civil, Architectural or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Already in the UAE with a transferable or cancellable visa
• Fluent written and spoken English

Preferred

• Experience client-side or contractor-side rather than purely in a modelling bureau
• Exposure to multi-discipline coordination across Architectural, Structural and MEP
• Dynamo, BIM 360 / ACC administration, or 4D exposure
