BFT Burwood is more than a group fitness studio. We are creating a complete fitness, wellness and lifestyle ecosystem where people can train, recover, refuel and look after themselves, all within one destination. At the heart of our business is BFT , delivering structured, coach led group training focused on strength, conditioning, fitness and performance. Our wider wellness centre also includes Recovery 10x , offering infrared saunas, ice baths, compression boots and other recovery services, alongside Reformer Pilates, a Nutrition Smoothie Bar and a Beauty Salon . Each business has its own dedicated team and operations, but together they contribute to our vision of creating a destination where people can invest in their health, fitness and wellbeing. The Opportunity We are looking for a passionate Group Fitness Coach to join the BFT Burwood team. Your primary focus will be coaching BFT sessions and creating an exceptional experience for our members . You'll also have the opportunity to develop skills in sales, member engagement and social media , giving you valuable experience beyond coaching. You will work directly with our Studio Owner and Head Coach , with genuine opportunities to develop your career as the business continues to grow. What You'll Be Doing: Coaching Deliver high quality BFT group training sessions Coach correct exercise technique and movement Provide individual feedback, encouragement and modifications Build genuine relationships with members Understand members' goals and help them achieve results Create an energetic, welcoming and motivating environment Support studio challenges, events and community initiatives Sales and Member Growth Conduct studio tours and consultations Build relationships with leads Help prospects understand the BFT Burwood experience Assist with membership sales and promotions Support member retention and engagement Social Media and Content Capture photos and videos during sessions Create content featuring members and coaches Showcase our training, community and studio culture Contribute ideas for Instagram and social media Support promotions, challenges and campaigns Why Work at BFT Burwood? What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Is passionate about fitness, health and wellness Loves coaching and genuinely enjoys helping people Brings energy and enthusiasm to every session Is confident communicating with members and prospective members Has a positive and motivating personality Is comfortable with sales and lead follow up Has an interest in social media and content creation Takes pride in their coaching and presentation Is reliable, professional and proactive Wants to develop skills beyond coaching Works well within a team Wants to build a long term career in the fitness industry Qualifications and Experience Required Certificate III and IV in Fitness Current First Aid and CPR Strong communication skills Highly desirable Group fitness coaching experience BFT coaching experience Sales experience Social media and content creation experience Previous leadership experience This Could Be Your Next Step If you're looking for somewhere to simply coach classes, this may not be the role for you.
