# Bell Captain **Accor** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Position Bell Captain Department Front Office Reports To Chief Concierge / Assistant Front Office Manager Position Overview The Bell Captain is responsible for supervising the Bell Desk and ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of luggage, arrival, departure, transportation, and other guest services. The role requires strong leadership, excellent guest-service skills, and close coordination with the Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Key Responsibilities Bell Desk Operations Supervise the daily operations of the Bell Desk and ensure all services are delivered efficiently and professionally. Coordinate and allocate duties among Bellmen and other assigned team members. Ensure guests are warmly welcomed and assisted upon arrival and departure. Supervise the handling, tagging, storage, and delivery of guest luggage. Ensure luggage is delivered promptly and securely to the appropriate guest room. Monitor the luggage storage area and ensure proper control and organization at all times. Coordinate the collection and delivery of guest luggage for check-in, check-out, room changes, and transfers. Ensure the Bell Desk, lobby, entrance, and related guest areas are clean, organized, and presentable. Guest Service Provide personalized and attentive service to guests throughout their stay. Assist guests with luggage, transportation, directions, hotel information, and other requests. Escort VIPs, long-staying guests, and other designated guests to their rooms when required. Provide guests with accurate information regarding hotel facilities, restaurants, outlets, operating hours, local attractions, and transportation options. Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and escalate them to the appropriate department or manager when necessary. Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with guests. Team Supervision Brief the Bell Desk team at the beginning of shifts regarding arrivals, departures, VIP guests, special requests, and operational requirements. Monitor team attendance, grooming, punctuality, and overall performance. Ensure Bellmen follow established hotel standards, procedures, and service guidelines. Provide guidance and coaching to team members to improve service delivery. Support the training and orientation of new Bell Desk team members. Ensure proper handover between shifts and that all outstanding guest requests are communicated effectively. Transportation & Vehicle Coordination Coordinate guest transportation arrangements, including taxis and other hotel-approved transportation services. Assist with the smooth movement of guest vehicles at the hotel entrance. Coordinate with drivers and relevant departments regarding guest pick-ups and drop-offs. Ensure VIP and special transportation arrangements are properly communicated and monitored. Coordination with Other Departments Maintain close communication with the Front Office, Concierge, Reservations, Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, and other departments. Coordinate room changes, luggage movements, guest requests, and special arrangements. Communicate relevant guest information and service requirements to the concerned departments. Report lost and found items, incidents, damages, or security concerns according to hotel procedures. Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of luggage storage, deliveries, guest requests, and other Bell Desk activities. Ensure all Bell Desk equipment and tools are properly maintained and used responsibly. Monitor and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment. Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and operational procedures. Maintain guest confidentiality and protect guest belongings and personal information. Prepare shift handover information and communicate all pending matters to the incoming team. Assist the Front Office management team with operational tasks and assignments when required. Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience as a Bell Captain, Assistant Bell Captain, Bellman, Concierge, or Guest Service Agent in a hotel environment. Previous supervisory experience in a Front Office or Guest Services department is preferred. Good command of English ; knowledge of Russian or other additional languages is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent guest-service and problem-solving skills. Professional appearance, grooming, and positive attitude. Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate a team effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hotel environment. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and according to operational requirements. Physically fit and capable of assisting with guest luggage when required. Good knowledge of hotel operations and local area information is an advantage. The Bell Captain must be physically capable of assisting the Bell Desk team when required. Working Conditions Shift-based position, including weekends and public holidays. Frequent interaction with hotel guests, visitors, drivers, and colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds. Primarily guest-facing and operational role requiring a consistently professional presence. Duties may vary depending on hotel occupancy, guest arrivals and departures, VIP movements, and operational requirements. Pay: AED1,800.00 per month Work Location: In person
