In this pivotal role, you will lead the management of behavioral health service contracts and funding initiatives, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Medi-cal, calAIMS, ECM, Housing, Recuperative care, community supports, and other types of funding sources, their application and completion. Your expertise will drive strategic planning, negotiate complex agreements, and oversee grant projects to support community health programs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence behavioral health services through innovative contract management and funding strategies, making a meaningful impact on community well-being. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of behavioral health contracts, including drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of Medi-cal, calAIMS, ECM, recuperative care, community supports etc. Oversee vendor management processes to ensure compliance with procurement regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and UCC law. Conduct thorough document review and maintain meticulous records management for all contractual documents, amendments, and related correspondence. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and grant applications aligned with organizational goals. Monitor contract performance, enforce compliance standards, and implement change management practices to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. Lead strategic planning efforts for business development opportunities related to behavioral health funding streams and government contracts. Provide expert guidance on public sector purchasing procedures, procurement regulatory knowledge, and government contract management best practices. Requirements Proven experience in government contract management, procurement processes, or behavioral health funding within the public sector. Strong knowledge of compliance management frameworks including FAR regulations, UCC law, and grant project management principles. Exceptional legal drafting skills with familiarity in intellectual property law and technical writing for contracts and proposals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce CRM platform, ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or similar enterprise resource planning tools. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, contractor management, research, and strategic planning to advance organizational objectives. Excellent records management skills with attention to detail in document review and contract documentation procedures. Effective communication skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment. We need someone who has done this before, is good at it, and can take a contract from beginning to end. We will pay well, per project, open to negotiation on price. We just need someone that can get this done. Pay: $80.00 - $200.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week Work Location: Remote
