About the Role We are looking for a friendly, responsible and customer-focused Barista to join our café operations team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for coffee and beverages, enjoy working with customers, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced café environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages while maintaining consistent quality, cleanliness and hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve coffee, tea, juices, beverages and other menu items according to company standards and recipes. Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, beverage dispensers and other café equipment safely and correctly. Ensure beverages are prepared consistently according to required quality, portion and presentation standards . Check the quality, freshness and availability of beverage ingredients before and during operations. Replenish coffee, tea, milk, syrups, cups, lids, ice and other beverage supplies when required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the barista counter, coffee machines, equipment and work area. Provide friendly, efficient and professional service to customers, including staff, visitors and students. Follow food safety, hygiene and operational procedures at all times. Work closely with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. Requirements Minimum Primary/Secondary School or SPM qualification . Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in café, beverage preparation, food & beverage or hospitality industry. Fresh graduates/candidates with relevant training are encouraged to apply. Food Handling Certificate and Typhoid Vaccination are required. Barista training/certification will be an added advantage. Ability to operate coffee machines, grinders and other beverage equipment safely. Good command of Bahasa Malaysia or English . Able to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours. Able to work well as part of a team. Friendly, polite and professional when dealing with customers. Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Work Location: In person
