# Bar Operations Supervisor **Macclesfield Football Club** · Macclesfield SK11 7SP · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Overall Objective To supervise and support all bar operations across Bar Twenty Seven and stadium outlets, ensuring the smooth, efficient and professional running of the department. Maintaining consistently high standards of customer service, presentation and product quality, while supervising the bar team and ensuring customers' expectations are met and exceeded. The role will work alongside the other Bar Operations Supervisor, with both roles operating at the same level but with clearly defined areas of responsibility, to ensure the bars are fully prepared, appropriately stocked and operationally ready for all matchdays, events, functions and normal trading. Main Responsibilities Front of House & Customer Service Oversee the day-to-day Front of House operation of the bars and associated stadium outlets. Supervise the service of beverages and ensure consistently high standards of customer service. Ensure all bars and outlets are opened, operated and closed to the required company standards. Ensure the agreed service standards are consistently achieved and maintained. Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, colleagues and external clients. Deal confidently and professionally with customer queries, complaints and issues, escalating where appropriate. Taking responsibility for the bar operation and dealing with any issues that arise during the shift. Support the delivery of functions, events, matchdays and VIP events. Liaise with Events (General Manager) regarding the organisation and delivery of functions and events. Team Supervision & Staff Management Supervise and lead bar staff during shifts. Ensure staff maintain high standards of presentation, customer service and product knowledge. Organise staff breaks in accordance with the volume of business. Ensure staff maintain prompt timekeeping and attendance. Provide day-to-day guidance, support and coaching to members of the bar team. Assist with training and development of staff to ensure company service standards are achieved. Support with recruitment requirements, training needs and employee-related matters. Ensure effective communication and delegation across the Front of House team. Conduct staff briefings when required and ensure the team is fully informed of operational requirements. Sales & Service Standards Promote sales through excellent customer service and suggestive selling. Encourage staff to maximise sales opportunities and promote products appropriately. Maintain excellent knowledge of all food and beverage products available. Ensure correct presentation and service of all drinks. Monitor customer flow and service levels and make adjustments to staffing where necessary. Support the delivery of promotions, events and commercial activities. Till & Cash Procedures Ensure all payment procedures are adhered to and strictly monitored. Ensure tills are operated correctly and securely. Complete and oversee the accurate closing up of tills. Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to the Deputy CEO, General Manager and Head of Finance. Communication & Administration Report regularly to the Deputy CEO and General Manager regarding departmental performance, operational issues and customer feedback. Ensure the Deputy CEO and General Manager are informed of any relevant information or issues. Liaise with other MFC departments to ensure the effective delivery of events and matchdays. Maintain accurate records and complete relevant operational paperwork. Attend and contribute to relevant staff meetings and training. Keep up to date with Macclesfield FC correspondence, policies and procedures. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure all Front of House areas are maintained in a clean, safe and professional condition. Adhere to all company health and safety procedures. Ensure staff comply with relevant licensing, food and beverage and operational procedures. Report hazards, incidents, equipment issues or maintenance requirements promptly. Ensure all relevant legal and company requirements are followed. General Work evenings, weekends and bank/public holidays as required. Demonstrate flexibility in working hours according to the needs of the business. Attend all relevant Macclesfield FC staff training and meetings. Show clear evidence of planning and evaluating. Be prepared to undertake other reasonable duties to support the development and operation of Macclesfield FC. Essential Flexible attitude to working hours. Desirable Previous experience within the football and/or Food & Beverage industry. Previous supervisory or management experience. Full UK driving licence.
