Position: Baker / Bakery Commis Chef

Starting Salary: SAR 2,000 - SAR 2,800 with FREE shared room and transportation

Job Role: Support the bakery and pastry team in producing high-quality classical and contemporary breads and French pastries while developing technical skills in a professional kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the daily production of breads, French pastries, viennoiserie, entremets, and plated desserts following exact recipes.
• Set up and organize the bakery and pastry station, tools, and ingredients before each shift for seamless workflow.
• Learn and apply classical bakery and French pastry techniques, including chocolate work, dough preparation, piping, and plating.
• Inspect product quality, taste, and presentation, reporting any deviations directly to the Head Pastry Chef.
• Uphold strict HACCP, sanitation, and food safety guidelines while keeping work areas and equipment clean.
• Manage ingredient storage, labeling, FIFO rotation, and inventory monitoring to minimize kitchen waste.
• Collaborate effectively with the broader kitchen team and display a proactive, positive attitude during service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of practical bakery / pastry experience, OR a Culinary/Pastry diploma for freshers
• Strong attention to detail, genuine passion for baking, French pastry, and a coachable, hardworking mindset.
• Good English communication skills and the physical stamina required for long kitchen shifts.

Pay: ﷼2,000.00 - ﷼2,800.00 per month
