This is an opportunity to architect and scale real-world logistics, fleet management, automotive SaaS, and AI-powered systems using modern backend technologies. What You’ll Work On : - Core API Management: Architect, develop, and maintain production-ready Node.js / Express.js APIs. - Database Management: Design, optimize, and manage highly scalable PostgreSQL and MongoDB schemas. - Feature Ownership: Build core backend features for TMS, dispatch, drivers, vehicles, maintenance, accounting, and repair-shop workflows. - Integrations: Lead integrations with third-party APIs, GPS/ELD tracking, mapping, and external services. - Security: Enforce robust security practices, authentication mechanisms, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). - Automation: Build and optimize high-performance background processes, webhooks, and system automation. - Performance Tuning: Debug, test, and optimize backend services to ensure low latency and handle large datasets. - Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy services across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure , and Hetzner using Docker . AI & Emerging Technologies : You will actively architect, integrate, and scale backend services utilizing: - LLM / AI APIs - AI agents and automation - OCR and intelligent document processing - Structured AI/JSON extraction - RAG and vector databases - AI-powered workflow automation - AI integrations for logistics and fleet operations RequirementsMust have: - Strong production experience with Node.js / JavaScript / TypeScript - Deep understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and JSON architecture - Advanced database knowledge of PostgreSQL & MongoDB - Expert knowledge of Git/GitHub workflows - Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and system troubleshooting skills - Proven experience building and deploying AI, LLM APIs, and modern backend features Good to have: - Express.js / NestJS - TypeScript - PostgreSQL / MongoDB - Python - Docker & Containerisation - AWS / Azure / Hetzner Cloud infrastructure - Redis caching and message queues - OCR, RAG, and Vector Database implementation - Complex third-party - API and hardware integrations Who We’re Looking For:- We want someone who is highly analytical, hands-on, and possesses a strong sense of ownership over their codebase. You should be comfortable researching new technologies, experimenting with modern architectures, and solving complex algorithmic and database problems independently. Takes ownership of assigned features. If you are a seasoned engineer interested in pushing the boundaries of Backend Engineering and AI-powered logistics SaaS, this full-time role will give you direct ownership over commercial, enterprise-grade software.
