B2B Technology Event Ambassador

Location: Dallas, Texas (on site) Type: Short paid conference assignment. Additional opportunities may be discussed by mutual agreement. Schedule: Main coverage November 10-11. November 9 may be needed for orientation or an additional shift. Exact times will be confirmed before booking. Pay: $35-50/hour depending on verified experience and assigned duties. Paid onboarding time and expenses will be confirmed in a written assignment agreement.

About the role

101VOICE, a division of IT Management Corporation, provides business communications and critical communications services for schools, government organizations, healthcare, and commercial customers. We need a Dallas-based representative to support our team at a business technology conference.

You will meet business and technology professionals, ask a few natural qualifying questions, record accurate contact information, and introduce promising prospective channel partners to our team. We provide a briefing, talking points, and a simple lead-capture process.

Responsibilities

• Welcome conference attendees and make professional introductions
• Identify potential technology partners, including MSPs, VARs, systems integrators, and agents
• Ask clear questions about an attendee’s business, customers, and interest
• Record complete, accurate contact details and agreed next steps
• Introduce promising contacts to the 101VOICE team rather than guessing at technical details
• Keep the booth organized and write a short end-of-shift summary

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B events, trade shows, lead generation, business development, or customer-facing technology, sales, or support work
• Strong spoken and written communication, and comfort approaching unfamiliar professionals
• Organized and reliable, with basic comfort using mobile forms, spreadsheets, or CRM tools
• Curious about business technology and able to learn from a short briefing
• Able to work in Dallas on the confirmed event dates

Telecom experience is useful but not required. Judgment, initiative, accuracy, and follow-through matter more.
